藍牙新標誌，smart & smart ready

     

藍牙SIG協會為了不要讓消費者對BT4.0搞混，或是說讓產品更好推廣，訂定了以上兩個標誌，之前的文章有大概提及，而SIG描述如下：

Bluetooth SMART READY

• Be built to Bluetooth v4.0 specifications with GATT-based architecture
• Feature a dual-mode low energy radio
• Allow consumers to update the device software
• should also provide a way for third parties to create and distribute applications that receive data from Bluetooth devices.
• 筆記：所以smart ready是屬於像手機或電腦的裝置，所以它裡面有GATT-based架構，意謂著它要讓開發者有GATT-based的function，讓smart ready可藉由這些api來捉smart中的資料，所以最好是可以安裝程式的裝置吧，比如電腦及智慧型手機。目前截至目前為止，smart ready已量產的裝置的有：電腦:MacBook Air、Mac mini及一些Ultrabook(Acer Aspire S3, ASUS Zenbook)；手機: iPhone 4S、Motorola Droid RAZR、MEDIAS PP。

• Use the GATT-based architecture to enable particular functionality of the device
• 筆記：也是要基於GATT的架構並實現特定功能，還要是single mode，才能達到省電的目的。
